TOMS Eyewear

June 25, 2012

By now, you probably already know that TOMS gives a pair of shoes to a child in need with every pair purchased, but did you know that they also make really stylish sunglasses that can help give a person in a developing country the opportunity to SEE?!! It’s true! And so cool! With every pair of sunglasses purchased, TOMS helps to restore a person’s sight via prescription glasses, surgery, or other medical treatments in places like Nepal and Guatemala. It’s pretty amazing. I’ve actually had the honor of working with TOMS for the past month and I’ve just been blown away by the wholehearted charity that comes out of this brand. This is not at all a plug, I’m not getting paid or free product to say this, I just think it’s such a cool way to do business and as a consumer, it makes me want to seek out more companies that practice a “one for one” business model. I mean, I’m going to buy shoes and sunglasses anyway, why not buy a product that helps someone in need while I’m at it, right? Check out more TOMS eyewear here. xoxo!

These are so cool! We had our bridal party for our wedding (plus my husband and I) wear Toms instead of going out and buying expensive shoes they’ll never wear again. Best decision ever! Still wearing my Toms one year later :)

So funny, when I read this I thought of Jimmy Fairly’s here in Paris. And when I first discovered Jimmy Fairlys I thought, “It’s like TOMS but for glasses!”.
