Berry Cute
May 23, 2012
Last weekend, Evan and I got all dressed up and went on a lunch date! It was kind of romantic to treat our daytime rendezvous like we do our traditional night dates. It got me thinking…”how come we don’t do this more often?”. We had cocktails and shared appetizers under a sidewalk umbrella. It was such a good time and we easily spent half the amount we would have at dinner (score!). So, what do you think? Are you game for a lunch date or do you prefer the romance of an evening affair?
Berry Cute lunch date outfit: J.Crew Dress/Juicy Couture Sun Hat/Juicy Couture Scarf/Seychelle’s Sandals/Kate Spade Bangle/Sugar Lip Tint in Coral (my favorite!…I dab a little on my cheeks)/Zara Tote

Thanks!
My husband works nights, so lunch dates are the thing! I think it’s more fun than a dinner date, because the restaurants are rarely crowded, the prices are less expensive, and people think you are having an affair if you drink anything alcoholic at 12 noon ;)
Ha! Jennifer, your comment made me laugh out loud (at work!).
The scarf is gorgeous!
I can visualize the two of you….love it and love both of you!
Thanks Cheryl!!!
I can’t decide! With summer here, I think lunch dates can be super cute to dress all summer-y and colorful while you can be more dressy for dinner! The outfit you put together is so cute, especially the scarf!
That’s a good point, I think part of what made our date so perfect was the gorgeous weather.
