Quick Lunch: Pear & Brie on Baguette

One of my favorite sweet+savory combinations is brie and anything tart and fruity. Yesterday for lunch, I happened to have all the makings for this yummy open face sandwich: creamy brie, with crisp slices of sweet Bosc pear on a toasty baguette. While I think my favorite is still brie paired with membrillo, this sandwich totally hit the spot. It was sweet, salty and crunchy and I loved every bite. How about you, do you have a favorite sweet+savory combo?

      It was pretty tasty…and a bit indulgent, I was a little care-free with the brie :)
