Bon Appetite: February 2011

I received my February Bon Appetite magazine in the mail last week and was delighted to see an article entitled The Art of Braising. For our wedding, we were gifted a lovely dutch oven that we have yet to christen because, frankly, we’ve had no idea how to use it or what to cook in it… until now, that is.

Braised Chicken with Moroccan Spices

Thai Spareribs

Braised Beef with Pears

Red Cabbage with Vinegar

Veal Breast with Herbs Pernod

Braised Kale Pasta

Are you drooling yet? I am. I don’t eat red meat all that often but I think that’s about to change. You hear that pristine dutch oven sitting in the cupboard, I’ll be seeing you soon!!
