Hello there!
Hello! I’m Paola Parsons, writer and curator of this little blog. I’m a freelance writer and graphic designer with a penchant for baking, cooking and entertaining, making stuff look cool and living a good, healthy, full life. I live in Los Angeles with my husband, Evan, and pup, Diamond. I started this blog a few years back as a way to showcase my gourmet cupcakes. I (used to) make delicious cupcakes, cakes and other homey desserts for parties and events, but now, I just bake (and cook) because I love it. This blog is now a collection of the stuff I do and the stuff I like. Enjoy!

Hi Paola! I stumbled upon your blog on craftgawker and I have to say, it’s a bit scary how similar our taste in all things crafty is! Nearly every other post of yours, I find myself coming across websites and projects that I have either visited or worked on myself! So cool! Such a beautiful blog! I’m in awe of your photos! I think, however, that’s my favourite part about baking and cooking – the photo-taking afterwards! Thank you for such a sweet comment! I’m so impressed that you’re only 12 and starting a blog! Way to be! As far as changing colors and such, it’s pretty easy. Go into your Dashboard and under appearances, you should be able to change up colors, fonts, etc. Also WordPress has a wonderful troubleshooting section. I’ve even sent emails for help and advice, and someone gets back to you within a day. Good luck!
