A day at the farm
October 29, 2012
On Saturday, Evan and I traveled to Riley’s Farm, about 2 hours east of Los Angeles, to pick apples. It was warm and sunny out, the complete opposite of last year’s apple picking trip. We picked baking apples (mostly Granny Smith’s), ate chicken pot pie, and drank freshly pressed apple cider. I loved every minute. We brought our new camera out to play and made this little video.

Here are a few photos from the day.

Thanks Charissa!!
Love the video – how cute! Great song choice, too – that put a smile on my face in the midst of this darn hurricane ;)
Also, I think you need to have a caption contest for that goat photo – what is he thinking…
Thanks Jeniffer! Be safe out there!! And I love the idea of a caption contest :) that goat was so cute in person!
Your pictures are gorgeous and I absolutely love the video!
Awe, thanks Elizabeth!
corn, pumpkins and apples – a true American autumn. It looked like a magical day, for sure :)

Thanks Alexandria! If you have a chance to go, you definitely should! This is our second year picking apples and I hope it becomes a tradition.
